Lyla leads a very fulfilled and happy childhood in NY until one day her parents tell her she must say goodbye to that old life and start a new one in the nearby suburban time of Harrison.
Lyla doesn't want to move but is also intrigued by the idea of starting over, a fresh new life. As she is saying goodbye to her friends and life as she knows it, she gets an idea. Does she really need to close one door in order to open another? Why can't she move and ALSO stay in NY? She brainstorms ideas of how she can manipulate this double life. Does her alter ego solely exist out of her imagination? Or can she actually live in both places at once?
Join Lyla on her adventure as she leads a double life...sneaking out of school and taking subway rides to the city in between class, telling her parents she's in after school classes while she really is in NY, continuing life right as she left off.
Will either life suffer as a result of her living a double life? Or will one enhance the other? And what happens when her two lives meet one another?
-creates another life by sneaking around
